Two Loving Big Brothers Bonding with a Baby Sister after Birth. Nina Drapacz Photography
More from "Under 48 Hours" The family had another photographer the day before but the baby was too fussy..It was check out day so I had to work quickly.. I came straight to the room which was too dark and small and took the family out to the hall where there was space and beautiful window light.
Two big brothers were goofing around so I had to wrangle them in while the baby was being "topped off" with an additional feeding. I worked with them and they loved the attention, so when the baby was ready, so were they. The boys rose to the occasion and couldn't be more amazing!
A Boy, a Baby and a Dog in Central Park. Nina Drapacz Photography
Dogs are a must for family photos! Sometimes they are more work, but mostly they are the easiest subjects....this is a case of a dog walking a boy!
House Call and More Newborn Images....Nina Drapacz Photography
I found a few more favorites from this newborn session as I was meeting with the mom to go through the images together. House calls are an integral part of the process. When I post galleries of over 300 images to choose from its much easier to narrow down the best when I swing by with my laptop loaded with Adobe Photoshop. This program allows us to place similar images side by side to compare details as well as toggle back and forth in Camera Raw with a magnification tool to see minute details.

Tribeca Family Photo Shoot by Nina Drapacz Photography!
I had a special request to meet and photograph a family in Tribeca as they were moving to the suburbs and wanted to document their family in the neighborhood they had lived for many years. We walked to a street where, apparently, many photographers use for all kinds of photo shoots. It was incredible! There was a man with an easel there painting, very European AND very New York in every way... I asked them to set the baby down on the dirty hard concrete, they willingly agreed- and out came these images! In one of the images, the baby's expression seems to be saying, "W
hat? My parents just put me down alone on this hard dirty floor???!"
Summer is going Fast! Hampton Summer Photo Sessions Nina Drapacz Photography
There is nothing quite like the summer in the Hamptons. This is my third year with these beautiful sisters at their wonderful home. The beach isn't always the best place for photography. The sun goes down so late, making photo shoots start at 6:30 when children are hungry and sleepy. I always encourage photographing at
homes. Im always taken by the beauty of the summer greenery there. The summer is going fast and Im almost fully booked for August! Please book soon to get on our calendar.
