I went to a studio sale in Brooklyn for MONDAYS, wonderful organic formed ceramics, and stumbled into the studio of Jane D’Arensbourg. I was dazzled by her huge aray of handmade unique jewelry. Left with some rings and returned a few weeks later to photograph the artist in her studio working.

I've been photographing these amazing obstetricians for over a decade. Each year they change their website photos to keep current. We all have such a great time and each year we try a different location. This year the office and Mt. Sinai inside and out plus a favorite coffee cart. The practice is like a big happy family!
When the mom asked to meet her in front of Central Park, we were losing light. We had 15 minutes to take photographs before the light was gone. Hence we didn't have a chance to go behind the museum, but in fact made a great discovery on this crowded late afternoon! As much as I love the changing colors of the leaves, I do love warmer weather while photographing. The children however, enjoy being active outside with no regard to the temperature. These beautiful children had a blast!

Two sets of twin tween siblings! My eighth year photographing them. I love seeing them each year, the oldest twins are just about my height now. Next year they will be taller and I will be standing on a step stool!

A couple of years ago I had photographed this glowing mom with her beautiful little baby boy and now here she is with her glorious baby belly! Pregnancy is best captured in the 7th and 8th month. Women literally glow - they are gorgeous!
Its summertime is a great time for late afternoon portraits. The sun is low and beautifully soft between 5 and 6pm. Children always have fun on my photo shoots!
Out to the Hamptons next weekend, so excited to see the families I photograph each summer and 
all the new families I have yet to meet!
