Four months old and quite adorable. This little one with his perfect round head and sturdy body didnt cry once until the very end, he was tired of all the entertainment! Dad had a walrus stuffed animal when he was the same age that he had saved all these years to give to his child….yep he inisited on includingit! The baby loves it!
New hospital for me lots of new babies! The parents of this little beauty work here at the hospital and had a wonderful new private room in the new addition on this floor. What a head of hair! She was all cheeks and hair, a true delight to photograph!
Mom was recuperating and was eager for a photo session right in the hospital, she was prepared with plenty of hats from grandma! The baby was a beautiful girl! We tried my props first then moved to her own. She slept through the whole shoot! Grandma was a huge help! I would definitely hire her as my assistant. We both took turns swaddling her granddaughter.
I photographed this beautiful sister and brother over 12 years ago! The dad had saved my contact information from when I was still shooting film! There was a beautiful new baby to photograph, some graduation portraits and family portraits. A simple commute to Brooklyn to this lovely townhouse, replete with an incredible outdoor space! Why go to the park?
Her mom reached out for a photography session expressing she waited until now because she was born premature. She arrived with mom a few days ago on a beautiful early evening in her comfortable snuggly. She hadn't been outdoors for more than a few hours at a time so this was new for her. She was the sweetest baby, her mom gave me the honor of holding her, I rocked her to sleep in my arms! When she woke up she was ready to continue! Those cheeks!
Her older brother is among my favorite subjects with his enormous smiles and playful personality. He now has some competition! She has a huge range of expressions and she's beautiful! To see them together is magical!
We are all waiting patiently for this mild but very long winter to end! Looking forward to summer fun in the Hamptons catching moments like these.

Recipe for a successful newborn photo shoot: One sleeping newborn, two sibs and a baby grand piano....Baby number three for this growing family and another son no less! The boys are loving and fascinated with the new bundle of joy. I feel like it was yesterday that I photographed the middle one, Jake, also a day before his Bris. 
I found a few more favorites from this newborn session as I was meeting with the mom to go through the images together. House calls are an integral part of the process. When I post galleries of over 300 images to choose from its much easier to narrow down the best when I swing by with my laptop loaded with Adobe Photoshop. This program allows us to place similar images side by side to compare details as well as toggle back and forth in Camera Raw with a magnification tool to see minute details.
The look of joy on a mom's face as she looks at her new baby and look of curiously on a toddler's face when he observes his new baby sister . We were able to capture lots of winning images, although we couldn't replicate the one of her brother on a black reflective table sleeping. She was awake the entire session as well as an additional session!! 
Its hard to remember that we had 60 degree days in late December. Brrr.... I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful family a week before Christmas. Such a relaxed and fun photo shoot, we took pictures until it was dark!
A rainy day is the perfect time to catch up on blogs and images captured during a very busy summer! This mom works for Facebook and was finishing her maternity leave in this oasis in East Hamtpon. She wanted memories of this relaxing time right before she went back to work... 
Destination weddings are fun for everyone, especially when the location is as magical as this was! Katie, Mike ( my brother) and their adorable Marley were as relaxed as the setting. Tons of laughter and lots of personal touches made this wedding a unique experience for all of us!

As much as I love the changing colors of the leaves, I do love warmer weather while photographing. The children however, enjoy being active outside with no regard to the temperature. These beautiful children had a blast!

I love seeing the dynamics of siblings. These two brothers were great! Whatever and however silly the older brother was being the little one, just three, tried to emulate even if it meant climbing to the highest rock!
Fun fall weekend shoot with these sibs at the gardens. What a gorgeous place to photograph - its best at 9:30 am or on an overcast day. 
Pregnant women glow! Such a short time in a woman's life as her body changes to accommodate baby, a time to capture with memorable images! I've been photographing this beautiful boy since he was 4 months old. Soon to be a big brother.
I head of blond curls pulled back in a pony tail and a full of energy! I photographed this beautiful girl as a baby who was full of giggles which hasn't changed at all. We started out with flawless knees and ended with skinned knees and an elbow! She managed to make a complete recovery and smile and laugh as much as when we started.
What a great role model for other kids and a pleasure to work with!
