Never a dull photo shoot with children. Always fun and watching and waiting to see what they will do! I love the family image where the parents were all ready to have their photograph taken and their son jumps out of the middle the moment I click the shutter! He had a blast the entire time
My favorite park, Carl Schurz, has so many wonderful backdrops for children, families and head shots. A few changes of clothes and several choice backgrounds can 
provide a wide variety of images from a single photo session.
A couple of years ago I had photographed this glowing mom with her beautiful little baby boy and now here she is with her glorious baby belly! Pregnancy is best captured in the 7th and 8th month. Women literally glow - they are gorgeous!
Its summertime is a great time for late afternoon portraits. The sun is low and beautifully soft between 5 and 6pm. Children always have fun on my photo shoots!

The cherry blossoms are here after a VERY long winter. They last about 10 days so hurry and book a half hour mini session soon. This gorgeous boy was thrilled to shed his coat and explore! He was a dream to photograph!

I have been photographing children and adults for over 23 years and have photographed quite a number of twins of all ages. Identical twins are
rare. There is a different twin bond with identical twins, almost like they know what each other is thinking. It phenomenal!
It was the end of the summer and swelteringly hot. These gorgeous twin sisters came out one at a time from their new home, which was under construction. Each emerged with the most beautiful dresses, very fashion forward from their grandma, a dress designer. The property was breathtaking! I was happily 
overwhelmed with the girls, the location and their stunning dog!
I photograph this gorgeous family each summer. The mom is a nutritionalist who is launching her own business and needed some head shots and some images that relate to her business for the website. I couldn't resist photographing the beautiful girls while I was there. Her apartment had such wonderful window light!
Its still FREEZING! I am more than ready for a wonderful summer in the Hamptons photographing tons of gorgeous families! Kudos to this family for encouraging me to show my creative side. Such a fun photo shoot!

art project I have been working on for close to 14 years of cat breeders with their cats at cat shows. These images are from the Westchester Cat Show November 2014
When I research websites, I'm always impressed when the portraits are consistent in background, cropping and lighting. I have done so many website portraits for corporations and institutions. They get more traffic and business improves. I photographed the daughters of the president of this company and the mom gave the dad my contact information and I photographed all 14 employees. 
I arrived at the home of this lovely family for portraits before the ceremony. Two years earlier I photographed their oldest daughter for her Bat Mitzvah. I suggested photographing the actual service which wasn't an option for their daughter and they agreed if the temple agreed. Surprising to the family private services were allowed to be photographed. What a gorgeous synagogue, what a gorgeous family!
It was freezing and raining and all I had was a camera and reflector as this photo session was scheduled for outdoors in Carl Schurz Park. The light was falling but somehow I was able to capture this beautiful family on their dining room table, the window behind me in natural window light mixed with indoor ambient light. 
In 22 years I've never forgotten to show up for a photo shoot until this snowy day. The mom emailed me to say the girls were excited and what time I would be there....luckily they lived around the block! I ran over as fast as I could and was greeted by two adorable amazing sisters! The light was fading fast so when I saw the shiny silver reflective table I immediately started using it. It provided just the perfect pop of light.
Two stunning red heads no less! We did the temple photographs a week after the ceremony when everyone was nice and relaxed. Earlier we did a portraits for posters to sign at the party. All pictures were timed perfectly when there was no stress for the family or the photographer! Whew!
