I met the most gorgeous toddler! He is a professional model his mom told me. Harlem is a wonderful neighborhood with so much character and this was
such a gorgeous family. This little one was on the go constantly! Even after 4 outfit changes!!!
The LAST warm day this winter! I was able to squeeze this shoot in in December. It was over 60 degrees! It started out rough, light was fading and big brother wasn't thrilled sharing the spotlight with his baby brother. With lots of patience and persistence, a success!
Until now we have had quite warm weather for December. It made a huge difference to lots of families who waited to book their photo sessions until late in the season. The combination of unseasonably warm weather and online card companies quick card's turn around made this season's families very happy!
I photographed this family both inside and outside. Both have different advantages. Outdoors the scenery is beautiful and placing children and families in nature can be creative depending on location and sunlight. Indoors offers a level of comfort. Children are familiar with their surroundings and moms can change their clothing easily during the course if the session. Their is also the wonderful natural window light that can light up a face so softly...
This family won my services from a school donation. The mom is well known in the media world and needed head shots for these beautiful babies. I was thrilled to meet them at the door! Gorgeous little 3 month twins! I love the black velvet for photographing babies, its so dramatic and the subjects really pop!

Her mom picked her up from school and came straight to the park. It was unseasonably warm, luckily, and she had a blast! Apparently this is her first formal photo shoot. Seven is a wonderful age! Between jumping on a thin stairwell banister, doing back bends and hugging a
tree to name a few stints, she didn't want to our session to end. The perfect subject!
Last year
it was Tim Hardaway Jr., this year Steve Weatherford and the Knicks Elite Air Dunkers at Basketball City! Poor Steve came as a guest and ended up signing over 50 shirts, shorts, sneaker, napkins... The Knick's Dunkers were awesome!
My second year with this family. The baby, now a toddler was able to run around and boy did he run! The wonderful thing about late afternoon light, we could go anywhere without fear of bright sunlight, perfect for a trailing a two year old on the go!
Tweens are the years right before teens, so about 9 to 12 years. Its a time in a child life that marks the last of the innocence and the impatience to independence. Many of the tweens I photograph are children I had been photographing since they were babies. I had the pleasure of seeing them grow up which is special.
It was the perfect time of day when the sun is low and golden. Two gorgeous girls who I have photographed
for a few years greeting me at the door, the rest is history! A fun photo shoot for the girls, the parents and me! I had a hard time choosing my favorites for this blog - I don't know how their parents will choose the images for their holiday and wall!
Sisters! Two little beauties met me at Carl Schurz with their wonderful parents. I love the light between 5-6pm. Its low and soft.
The first child arrived with his Mom and loved to be photographed and especially enjoyed my jokes! About 20 minutes later this handsome boy's toddler sister comes with Dad, a complete clone of him! She was eager
to get out of her stroller and go, go go!
This handsome little toddler just wanted to explore and explore! I had to be quick and provocative to get his attention and creative to keep him still for a moment here and there. Such a gorgeous little guy! Lollypops helped as an incentive....but not for long!

I photographed this adorable little baby for his bris. Three months is a wonderful time for photographs! He rose to the occasion . Im scheduled to photograph this little one when he turns 6 month in the Hamptons with his big brother and dog, Leo.
A new addition to this family! I have photographed the two older siblings in my studio awhile back and now that the family is complete, I got a call from the mom letting me know there is another beauty in the family and she was in need to photographs of all! You can imagine who was in charge of the session..we followed
her around everywhere, no sitting for this curious 18 month old!
During the holidays families fly in from all over to celebrate. This family came together for Passover, all 17 
of them and I got a call from the proud grandmother to document. Cousins, aunts and uncles who haven't seen each other for many months were thrilled to see each other! During some of these images I captured, I wondered what was going on behind my to provoke such laughter! Rumor has it some of the uncles were making silly faces and bunny ears above my head....
I love photographing yoga poses! I have photographed extremely advanced poses on the beach, in my studio and now in
a fantastic yoga studio. Im always in awe of such hard poses and as a intermediate yogi myself, this was even more enjoyable.
Still trying to remember when the weather was warm... although these images were from an extremely hot summer day in August. Looking at these I wonder when it will warm up and be sunny. Two families live locally and one from San Francisco. All the cousins were adorable, most inherited wonderful dimples!!! Its a big group and lots of different ages and temperaments and it was 95 degrees but somehow, a big success! Can the proud grandparents be any more thrilled??
Summer is almost here! This wonderful boy and his canine best friend, Duke ,were fun to photograph! It was early October yet the weather was warm enough to be outside without coats. I am excited to photograph all summer long in the Hamptons where the beaches and homes make for perfect backdrops to the beautiful families.
