Newborn Baby at Weill Cornell by Nina Drapacz Photography

Mom was recuperating and was eager for a photo session right in the hospital, she was prepared with plenty of hats from grandma! The baby was a beautiful girl! We tried my props first then moved to her own. She slept through the whole shoot! Grandma was a huge help! I would definitely hire her as my assistant. We both took turns swaddling her granddaughter.

Goodbye New York City and Moving West! Family Photos by Nina Drapacz Photography

Enough park photography, this family wanted more of a city vibe. Moving to LA in just a week, I brought them to my favorite Tribecca spot, saturated with history and grit! Lucky for me there was a lot of rain the night before, leaving these pools of water on this tiny street. The kids, who mastered the perfect jumps, loved the chance to leap across trying not to get wet...it worked most of the time.

Central Park, After School and After a Cup of Grom. Nina Drapacz Photography

Baby number two, two years old and very serious. The only trick that worked for a fleeting smile was the Dad toss. I photographed this little one in his mom's belly, as a newborn and now a toddler with his handsome older brother. The shoot came after they both consumed Grom strawberry gelato, thank goodness for photoshop! Evidence erased!

Stunning Maternity Portraits in Bedford by Nina Drapacz Photography

With only weeks to go I headed north with all my studio equipment and in time for gorgeous late afternoon light. This mom glowed! We all had fun with this creative and playful session! I'm excited to meet the little one soon!

The Metropolitan Museum makes a Perfect Backdrop for these Brothers! Nina Drapacz Photography

When the mom asked to meet her in front of Central Park, we were losing light. We had 15 minutes to take photographs before the light was gone. Hence we didn't have a chance to go behind the museum, but in fact made a great discovery on this crowded late afternoon! What better a backdrop for the perfect holiday card, two happy boys and an iconic fountain!boysLowen jake jake2

House Call and More Newborn Images....Nina Drapacz Photography

I found a few more favorites from this newborn session as I was meeting with the mom to go through the images together. House calls are an integral part of the process. When I post galleries of over 300 images to choose from its much easier to narrow down the best when I swing by with my laptop loaded with Adobe Photoshop. This program allows us to place similar images side by side to compare details as well as toggle back and forth in Camera Raw with a magnification tool to see minute details.family family2 7W4A0324 newborn3 siblingsO

Newborn Photography at Home and Cozy. Nina Drapacz Photography

The look of joy on a mom's face as she looks at her new baby and look of curiously on a toddler's face when he observes his new baby sister . We were able to capture lots of winning images, although we couldn't replicate the one of her brother on a black reflective table sleeping. She was awake the entire session as well as an additional session!! newborn newborn newbornbaby siblings siblings2

Fall Photography Session. Cold but not too cold! Nina Drapacz Photography

As much as I love the changing colors of the leaves, I do love warmer weather while photographing. The children however, enjoy being active outside with no regard to the temperature. These beautiful children had a blast! zey,zey zey2 zey3 zey

I love seeing the dynamics of siblings. These two brothers were great! Whatever and however silly the older brother was being the little one, just three, tried to emulate even if it meant climbing to the highest rock!leon leon2 leon Leon2 leon4 leon5 leon6

Dreaming of Summer Again. Bridgehampton by Nina Drapacz

I first photographed these sisters at the BSTC camp the previous year. I had the special privilege of photographing them this summer on their own turf. Loved the woodsy setting!schiff schif schiff schiff2schiff3

Gorgeous girl, gorgeous horse! Photography in Watermill, NY by Nina Drapacz

The day before braces and the last chance for portraits for awhile. The horse stepped on her toe about a half an hour into the shoot. A Beautiful Girl and My Favorite Park ....Nina Drapacz Photography

I head of blond curls pulled back in a pony tail and a full of energy! I photographed this beautiful girl as a baby who was full of giggles which hasn't changed at all. We started out with flawless knees and ended with skinned knees and an elbow! She managed to make a complete recovery and smile and laugh as much as when we started.olive2oliveoliveolive5olive3olive4olive7 What a great role model for other kids and a pleasure to work with!
